SafePath
Built for Parents

You don't have to figure this out alone.

Whether you're facing Early Intervention or Reunification, SafePath helps parents understand the system, stay organised, track progress, and turn every positive step into proof while supporting the journey to keep families together.

Created by a parent who has lived through the child protection system.

💙

SafePath puts children first. And the best outcome for a child is a safe return home, so we help parents get there.

Help Shape SafePath

Have your say about what parents need when child protection becomes involved.

SafePath is being built from real experiences. This short survey helps show what support parents need most during DCP involvement, removals, case planning, court, contact visits, services, and reunification.

Takes only a few minutes.

Please avoid sharing names, addresses, children's identifying details, or private case details.

What is SafePath?

SafePath was created from my own experience with child protection, and from years of listening to other parents' stories. What they went through. Why their children were removed. What happened along the way.

I know the struggle parents are going through. I know what it feels like when you're running out of time. I know what it feels like when the services you've accessed, or the small achievements you've worked so hard for, go completely unnoticed. And I understand the pain and heartache after every visit with your children and having to say goodbye.

SafePath is here to help you navigate the system and find the right path forward. But more than that, it's here so you don't lose yourself in the meantime.

Built for parents. Built from lived experience. Built to help families find a clearer path forward.

How SafePath Works

A clear path forward, one step at a time

1

Understand what is happening

SafePath helps you understand case documents, court paperwork, case plans, and what Child Protection is asking of you in plain language. Instead of feeling lost or overwhelmed, you can clearly see what steps matter most and what needs to happen next.

2

Organise your tasks and appointments

Keep your appointments, services, court dates, contact visits, documents, and important notes all in one place. SafePath helps you stay on top of everything during one of the most stressful times in your life, so important steps do not get missed.

3

Document your progress and efforts

Every service attended, appointment completed, program finished, and positive step matters. SafePath helps you build a clear record of your efforts, progress, and engagement over time so you can keep track of everything you are doing for your family.

4

Prepare and stay informed

Feel more prepared for meetings, contact visits, court dates, and conversations with professionals. SafePath provides guidance, reminders, and tools designed to help you feel more confident, informed, and organised throughout the process.

5

Built from lived experience

SafePath was created from real lived experience and from understanding how overwhelming child protection involvement can become. It was built to give parents structure, clarity, and support during a time when everything can feel uncertain and impossible to manage alone.
